professional reptile incubator for the Professional
Herpetologist. This Hi-tech reptile incubator is a
compact unit measuring 48 1/2" high, 19 1/2" deep
and 21 1/4" wide. ABS plastic and foam walls provide
excellent temperature insulation. The clear
see-through door allows observation of developing
eggs. A highly accurate solid state ten-turn
temperature control regulates temperature, while a
reliable over temperature protection wafer
thermostat backs up the electronic control.
Eight powder coated incubating trays 17" X 17" X
3" made out of 1/4" mesh with reinforced covers,
provide room for approximately 160 python eggs or
its equivalent in other reptile species. (Flat
shelving can be ordered instead).
The Profi-R offers fan forced air circulation,
maintaining temperature uniformity throughout the
incubation chamber. An adjustable air intake system
provides the necessary gas exchange between the
Profi-R and the outside air. All adjustments for air
and temperature can be made on the outside of the
unit.
Laboratory grade mercury thermometer provides
accuracy to approximately half a degree.
The Profi-R also comes equipped with a thermal
wafer alarm circuit which can be wired to an
external alarm system that is activated if the set
temperature is exceeded.
